I was pulling out of a parking spot the other day, when a man knocked on my window. I was a little scared, but he seemed friendly, so I put my window down, and he handed me this beautiful lei. He explained that he made it himself, and had just dropped off some of his leis at a local festival. There was one leftover that he said was just going to wilt in his car, so he wanted to give it to me. I was so touched by this random act of kindness. Malia loved wearing it too! It’s amazing how one small act can brighten someone else’s day
Happy Aloha Friday!
What are some random acts of kindness that you have received or given?

that is a great story. and i love pua keni keni.
me too! it was so fragrant and beautiful…only in hawaii
That’s amazing! One day not too long ago, a guy came running up to me to let me know that my bookbag was wide open – he had gone totally out of his way!
Aw, how sweet!! Sometimes it’s the small things, even someone going out of their way to hold the door for me when I’m struggling with the two kids, that can make my day
That would totally make my day too! He’s soo sweet! I love it when people would open the door for me, help me lift something heavy into my truck at the Costco parking garage, etc….Doesn’t have to be anything major! Motivates me to become a better person too!
Yes, opening the door or just in general being thoughtful ranks very highly in my book
